Knitting (and sometimes crochet) journey

Stitch by stitch, something new can be created. Enjoying yarn colors and textures, learning new techniques, meditating through stockinette stitch or showing off the finished piece, knitting has it all. I've been dabbling in crochet as well. Finished projects are listed below in somewhat chronological order with the newest one being at the top. Patterns used are credited and linked unless they are my own creations. 

Tolsta Tee

Pattern: Tolsta Tee by Rebecca Clow

Yarn: Viking of Norway Bambino Color 403 Black (100 g/350 m) and color 400 White (200 g/700 m)

Needles: 4 mm for body, 3,5 mm for ribbing

Gauge: 25 sts x 36 rows in 10 cm stockinette

Time used: 57 h


Notes: Bust shaping F cup with size 3 chosen. 

Kitten Catch Mittens

Pattern: Kitten Catch Mittens by Florence Miller

Yarn: Filcolana Arwetta 147 (green, ca. 30 g=122 m) and 100 (white, ca. 25 g=105 m) 

Needles: 2,5 mm for cuff and 3 mm for main part

Gauge: 46 sts x 42 rows to 10 cm in pattern

Willow Cable Moss Socks

Yarn: Sandnes Garn Alpaca Silke 4304 (75 g)

Needles: 3 mm

Gauge: 34 sts x 42 rows to 10 cm in stockinette

Notes: To meet gauge, three small cable/bobble repeats were added resulting in 82 stitches.

Gauge: 30 sts x 44 rows to 10 cm in stockinette
